Burrows Davies Ltd carries out high quality masonry, conservation and restoration works on historic properties and listed buildings including churches, historic houses and monuments throughout the Midlands, North of England and Scotland.

The company works primarily as principal contractor and occasionally as specialist sub-contractor, and over the past few years, has successfully completed various prestigious projects ranging in value from a few thousand pounds to £1 million.

Examples of completed projects include:

• Nostell Priory Stable Block, Wakefield: - Re-roofing, restoration of clock tower and renewal of stonework.
• Dunlossit House, Islay: - Major restoration work, including roofing, renewal of stonework, pointing, lead work and windows.
• St Mary's Church, Fridaythorpe: - Careful dismantling and rebuilding of the complete North Aisle, and new stainless steel roof.
• St Mary's Church, Whitby: - Renewal of stonework, pointing, leadwork, rainwater goods, drainage, new heating system and electrical works.
• St George's Minster, Doncaster: - Major restoration work including renewal of stonework, pointing, lead roofing and glazing.
• St Columba's Church, Topcliffe: - Renewal/rebuilding of stonework to tower, including parapets, pinnacles, stringcourse, clock surround, ashlar and rebuilding of tower roof including new lead covering.
