David Everingham (Conservation of Fine Art) specialises in the conservation and restoration of easel paintings and decorative schemes in historic buildings and churches.  Services offered include the treatment (cleaning, consolidation, retouching, structural treatment) of paintings and decorative schemes in oil, acrylic or tempera on canvas, wood, metal and plaster supports; painting conservation at The Bowes Museum in County Durham on a part-time basis.

Recent projects include: the conservation of the large-format oil-on-canvas paintings (after Guido Reni) at Ribston Hall, North Yorkshire; the conservation of easel paintings at Parcevall Hall, North Yorkshire; the cleaning and restoration of fourteen Stations of the Cross at Rudding Hall, North Yorkshire; the cleaning and restoration of a 19th century oil-on-canvas frieze at Uppingham School, Rutland; the cleaning and restoration of 19th century wall paintings by Heaton, Bayne and Butler at All Saints' Church, Ascot; the restoration of the apse at St Mary's Church, Cardiff.  All work is covered by full professional indemnity insurance.  Member of United Kingdom Institute for Conservation (UKIC).
