Recently the Birch team extended its range of expertise to bring back to life the shell of the Banqueting Hall at Whitby Abbey with a technically demanding new envelope over the ruined walls, incorporating a sympathetic Visitor Centre within.  An altogether different challenge has been the restoration to operational condition of a three storey underground Cold War reinforced concrete bunker.

One of the most eye catching projects completed to date by the company has been the repair and restoration of the dazzling tile mosaics and decorations of the famous Harrogate Turkish Baths together with the upgrading of the essential systems which ensure its distinctively warm atmosphere.
