Established in 1918, Hare and Ransome Specialist Joiners have remained a family business through five generations of joiners, from their workshops and offices in the City of York. The Company’s current staff of 20 craftsmen has a combined experience of over 300 years and continues to produce quality work for all aspects of the joinery trade.
From ecclesiastical and architectural restorations to bespoke items for domestic refurbishment, work has taken the company beyond Yorkshire for clients as far flung as the Isles of Man and Islay. Hare and Ransome are proud to serve many distinguished clients at some of the most illustrious properties and ecclesiastical buildings, most recently at Westminster Abbey Song School and Gym, Lambeth Palace and York Minster, and have maintained a reputation for quality service and customer relations.
