Conservation:
Established in 1986 by Martin Johnson ACR, we are a team of multi-skilled, attentive, creative craftspeople experienced in all aspects of the conservation and protection of Stained Glass and Historic Glazing, from the repainting of damaged glass to the installation of complete isothermal glazing systems. Our premises are designed to handle the intimate demands of sensitive conservation processes while amply accommodating large scale projects.
Consultation:
We pride ourselves on giving sound expert advice and producing detailed window condition reports and surveys. Project management is key to the success of Martin Johnson & Co – we ensure that all work is carried out with the highest degree of consideration for the building’s fabric, its custodians and occupants
New Design:
In a collaborative partnership with established artists Graeme Willson and Steve Collins we design and make new commissions for public, commercial, private and ecclesiastical settings.
Metalwork:
One of the area’s leading manufacturers of high-quality stainless steel window guards, we also fabricate and fit all associated metalwork including window casements and accompanying ferramenta.
