Combining Nigel Copsey from the Earth Stone and Lime company with Lee Gillard from Gillard’s building services we provide a specialist masonry conservation service that covers both brickwork and stone masonry.
Nigel is a professional building conservator and one of the leading masons in hot lime conservation in the UK. Lee has undertaken training at the Scottish lime centre to then go on to be mentored by Nigel and other craftsmen across the UK. He is working towards a fellowship with the society for the protection of ancient buildings.
We follow the S.P.A.B approach to all our repair work meaning we believe in using like for like materials with the matching skill set to complete any work that may be needed. We have a real passion for what we do and feel this shows across all the services that we offer which include: Traditional masonry repairs, Brickwork, Stonework, all aspects of lime pointing, Mortar assessments, consultations and we also provide onsite training services for those who want to understand and replicate the use of hot lime mortars on their historic buildings.
