New Trustee — Jonathan Bryant

Following the retirement of David Fraser the York Foundation for Conservation & Craftsmanship welcomes Jonathan Bryant as a new Trustee who, since April 2018, has been working as Secretary & CEO of York Conservation Trust.
Following a degree in physics at Sussex, Jonathan pursued an interest in Industrial Archaeology, studying post graduate museums studies at Leicester and taking a business management degree at the University of Dundee.
The River & Rowing Museum in Henley, Thinktank in Birmingham, Royal Research Ship Discovery & Verdant Works in Dundee are some of the museum developments that he has been responsible for.
He was a founder of the Association of Independent Museums serving as both Secretary & Chairman and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
At British Waterways he ran the property portfolio in Scotland and customer service throughout the UK.
Through his consulting company Roseangle, Jonathan has undertaken projects for National Trust for Scotland, London Transport Museum, Imperial War Museum and Tullie House / Carlisle City Council.
He is a Trustee and Company Director at New Lanark World Heritage Site.
