Job Opportunity: YCCC Administration & Communications Assistant

 

Organisation: York Consortium for Conservation & Craftsmanship

Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week, option to spread across 3-5 days (core hours 10:00 – 14:00)

Term: Fixed-term for 9 months (January – September 2022)

Salary: £14,667 per annum (pro-rata £22,000 full time)

Workplace pension: employer contribution 3%, employee 5%

Holiday: 21 days p.a. (pro-rata 26 days + public holidays)

Bats in Churches are running an online training course over two afternoons in November. This is a professional course for church and historic building professionals and those caring for churches, from architects to church wardens. It provides thorough grounding in practical and useful bat awareness, which is important when planning building works and maintenance. It can be counted as RIBA CPD.

Online Event | ICAA Summer Travel Series: Wentworth Woodhouse – The Largest 18th Century Palace in Britain

We are delighted to announce a free online lecture, which is the first installment of the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA) Summer Travel Series on Monday, June 28th. The lecture will take place at 5pm BST (12pm EDT).

Join architectural historian Oliver Gerrish and CEO of Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust Sarah McLeod, who will present a specially made video of the state rooms of Wentworth Woodhouse with an introduction to this enormous Palladian mansion and its history, as well as the current restoration and renaissance.
