Autumn 2021 Second Tuesday Talks

Second Tuesday Talks are back! This autumn, our online series of talks will explore a diverse range of craft and conservation projects, from loaning locomotives for display and exploring historic photographic processes, to providing essential heritage skills training as part of conservation projects.

The Talks will return on 12th October with a look at how the Landmark Trust are providing engagement and skills training opportunities as part of conservation projects at Calverley Old Hall. Click here to book.

On 9th November, Jack Lowe will delve into his eight-year mission to photograph 238 RNLI lifeboat stations using a nineteenth-century photographic process. Click here to book.

The autumn series will conclude on 14th December, with a talk led by Wendy Somerville-Woodiwis, Senior Project Conservator at the National Railway Museum. Wendy and her colleagues will discuss the challenges of installing locomotives at Doncaster Museum during lockdown. Click here to book.
